Took a picnic (must be mad!) and had a day out along the coast at Morecambe. Yes it was cold, but getting back in the car afterwards for a cup of coffee and a bit of cake - what more could you want? |

A little late I know, but I want to wish everyone a very happy and prosperous New Year! I had a wonderful break with family and friends and am now ready to start the new year with renewed enthusiasm!
So even though the Studio is closed till February, I'm already thinking of new paintings and have actually got one on the go as we speak! This is a new countryside painting for Artko so all being well, prints should be available in the Spring.
 I also have plans for another seascape. I couldn't resist this view yesterday. |

How lucky am I to be able to drive past the sea on my journey to and from work?
This was how it looked this morning, the waves were huge. Then on my way home this evening, it was so calm and tranquil. The bay never ceases to amaze me with it's beauty.
