Took a picnic (must be mad!) and had a day out along the coast at Morecambe. Yes it was cold, but getting back in the car afterwards for a cup of coffee and a bit of cake - what more could you want?

New prints on show

I've been working hard recently to get some new paintings done for Artko in time for the Trade show which is on at NEC Birmingham at the moment and here's some of the results!

I really enjoyed it so I had a go at a few more designs. They're still drying out so when I've painted them I'll take some more pictures.

New Find
Blue glass is my favourite and I found these last week in a local charity shop and I'm afraid I couldn't resist buying them. They were hidden at the back of a shelf and I felt like I'd found buried treasure! I'll have to find somewhere to display them at the Studio as there's no more room at home.

Although I'm not too sure there'll be room here either!

Happy New Year

A little late I know, but I want to wish everyone a very happy and prosperous New Year!  I had a wonderful break with family and friends and am now ready to start the new year with renewed enthusiasm!

So even though the Studio is closed till February, I'm already thinking of new paintings and have actually got one on the go as we speak! This is a new countryside painting for Artko so all being well, prints should be available in the Spring.

I also have plans for another seascape. I couldn't resist this view yesterday.
